Trattoria del'arte in midtown west is very fish and vegetable heavy. They even have a vegetable butcher counter. It's lively and energetic, and the food is good. Highly recommend the sole, though it was about $50.

I'd recommend Scarpetta, which has very good veg/fish options.

Seconded. They have a special, separate, all vegetarian menu. Some of their most famous dishes will work just fine. Spaghetti, polenta, black cod.
