I'm looking for dinner places on Sat, June 16 at 6PM that can take 30 people. The event is in Paramount Theater in Oakland, so I'm open to anything right next to the Theater, or farther away like Jack London Square or the Rockridge area. About a third of the party will be vegetarian so it's important to have vegetarian options. Something Thai or Asian fusion would be great. Thanks!

BocaNova in Jack London Square. The newest incarnation of Le Cheval in Old Oakland. Most of the places in Rockridge are too small for a group that size but Soi 4 might work.

Second on Bocanova. You can take over the patio if it's warm enough.

Oh, and make the reservation ASAP. For a Saturday night with graduations in Oakland a lot of places will be booked!

Olufe is directly behind the Paramount. Informal but friendly. A crowd like that might overwhelm them, though.

Vo's is three blocks away, they have plenty of space.

Bocanova would definitely work, the place is huge.

There's also Ozumo, next to Pican. They have a few private rooms, I think the biggest holds 50.

Bocanova and Le Cheval are good recs. Might also look into The Terrance Room at the Lake Merritt Hotel. Nice place, has a view, art deco, probably easy to get a reservation and about 5-6 blks away from the Paramount.
