Seattle: Dinner with kids

I have only visited Seattle once, fifteen years ago. I will be arriving on a Friday evening, plane touching down around 7pm. I would like to have dinner that evening at a nice restaurant--I'm a bit of a foodie, but my kids are the pickiest kids on the planet, ages 13 and 9. One will eat steak and burgers, the other will eat white rice and plain pasta. Any suggestions? We're staying near the Nordstrom and Macy's. We will not have a car.

We frequently go to Coastal Kitchen in Capitol Hill with my nieces and nephews. It would be an easy cab ride from downtown. There's a toy store next door that your 9 year old will like checking out, and your 13 year old might like checking out the street scene in Capitol Hill.

The Palace Kitchen will accommodate the plain pasta request (with freshly-made hand cut noodles no less) and has a righteous burger as well. Close to where you're staying, that would be my choice.
