Monterey Park Farmers Market Rebooting on June 8

It is operated by Mark Anderson of Sprouts of Promise, and will be located at the Bruggerheimer Library parking lot on Ramona. There will be plenty of parking, and there's enough room for 50 booths.

The last iteration of this FM started Jan 2008, and basically died off by Q3 of 2010. This time, they brought on an organizer with a solid market record, and he's hoping there will be even 50/50 mix of produce vendors & prepared food vendors on the first market day, without the shirt-sellers from the last market on Garvey/Garfield.

The new Altadena market has been garnering a lot of press these last few weeks, and I just want to give MPKFM a bit of love. They're running 4:00-8:00pm and it will be a year round market.

    Perfect for pre-work grocery runs.
