parve white chocolate candy melts

arachelk May 30, 2012 10:05 PM

I had previously purchased white chocolate melting wafers (used for chocolate lollypop molds) from a store in brooklyn. They carried all colors of the melting wafers which they said were kosher parve, but they were repackaged by the store with no brand name. Now when I go on line I cannot find a single white or colored wafer that is non-dairy.. Anyone know who makes these?

I believe that the Wilton melts are dairy. You might try melting a parve white chocolate bar and adding a little shortening to it.

I use pareve white chocolate chips. Most kosher stores carry them.

Gourmet Glatt carries them in white and brown. They are gefen brand. Shufra also makes colored candy bars that you can melt.
