Launch of Google+ Local and free Zagat content

Google and Zagat announced the launch of Google+ Local today, including user-generated restaurant reviews and integration of Zagat content across google products.

    It works, kind of. The user interface isn't as intuitive as Zagat's own site. On the other hand, it's possible to get lists of restaurants more focused on a specific location than Zagat's "neighborhoods."

    The announcement also says that the Zagat site will no longer have a paywall. I'm a subscriber and can't check this myself, but I'm told that the paywall hasn't come down yet.
