Road trip from CHI to Spread Eagle, WI

We are making our annual trip to the UP this 4th of July. We are looking for any foodie stops along the way, or in/around Iron Mountain, MI/Florence, WI? We always stop at Kopp's outside of MKE for custard and sandwiches, but are in dire need of some new haunts for the trip or once we arrive. Thank you!
