What's your take on Thai Basil rest. in Richmond Hill?

I didn't have a good meal there either. When i ordered the pad thai, my friends who go there frequently assured me that its authentic and not made with ketchup. Well.....the pad thai came out in a soggy broken noodle mess and it was made with ketchup. I will never go back there again.

There were two versions when I last ate there! One ketchup one none! May be they have changed chef?

I wasn't aware there were 2 versions of pad thai there. Since it was lunch time, i just ordered off the lunch menu. But thats usually the one my friends order too since Thai Basil is usually their office gathering lunch outing.

I had pad thai on the weekend, and I have to say that it was disappointing, broken, and red-coloured. Next time I'm there, I will see if I can find out what's going on. It would be a shame if they caved in to support the Canadian expectations of pad thai.

Don't like this place. Environment is good. However, I'm there for food mainly. I tried their phai thai and noodle. The only thing about them is oily. I will never go back.

Eat there often. A little more upscale than the usual strip mail Thai. Lots of variety on the menu - good food.

Food is Great! Have been to Thailand, and the food at Thai Basil is pretty authentic. Enjoy!

I like it! Food is actually pretty good! Better than a lot of so-called authentic Thai restaurants down town!
