Sam's in Tiburon is still going strong
A friend and I went to Sam's today (Memorial Day) for lunch. I hadn't been in a long time and it was nice to see that the place hadn't changed at all and the food was still good. I had smoked salmon hash and it couldn't have been better. It's not Le Garage or Fremont Diner but for what it is, it's just fine.

Monday's weather was so glorious, did you snag a table outside? Reading your post made me pause to think about when I was last there . . . maybe 1999. Then, I felt the food was good enough but not the primary draw. Always a fun time. Thanks for the update.

Definitely. That's why you go there on a pretty day.

Still true. Just a word more about the food. I'd expect the same item (if they had it) at Fremont Diner would a a couple of dollars less and about 50% (or more) greater quantity. But I didn't need any more quantity and happily spent the extra $ for the location, and the quality was very good. Service was also good.
