DC Interns gotta eat

Meeting up with a few friends who are in town for the summer. I'm from the area, but want to show them a great meal that's not too expensive. They're an adventurous bunch and will eat almost anything. Favorites include Middle Eastern, but definitely not limited to that. Suggestions? Thanks in advance!

Thai Xing, Oohs and Aahs, Taylor Gourmet, Regent Thai, Red Rocks, Toki Underground, Oh Fish, Matchbox, Nam Viet, Minh's, El Pollo Rico. Will you have a car, and do you mind traveling to the burbs?

Cava is a good, fun choice. Make sure to get the zucchini fritters....so delicious!

Another place to consider is Zorba's for delicious Greek platters on the cheap.
