Anniversary dinner for inlaws....near Nashua

My inlaws are visiting from NJ and want to go out for dinner (alone) on their anniversary. Having two toddlers, we don't go to many "fancy" places. Where would you go within 20-30 minutes of Nashua?

They like to feel special and well attended to. They aren't into ethnic or adventurous cuisines. She's not a huge meat eater and enjoys local, fresh ingredients. Seafood is fine, but not shellfish. He eats most anything.

Thanks for your help!

  1. Saffron Bistro is the first place that comes to mind.

    1. Food, service and ambience are always top-notch at BVI. Just had an anniversary dinner there, and it was excellent.

Another option closer to Nashua would be the Stonehedge Inn in Tyngsboro.

      2. Thanks! We've been to Saffron with them before and they've enjoyed it.

She doesn't like the menu at BVI.

Haven't received her response to Stonehedge yet.

If they're willing to travel to Burlington, MA, there is a fabulous Italian restaurant called L'Andana that I highly recommend. http://landanagrill.com/

        2. Thanks everyone. They ended up at Saffron. I'd say they gave it 4 out of 5 stars.

whs - I saw L'Andana last night driving to my parents. will have to check it out when we are sans kids.
