We are staying near the Riverwalk and would like to have a famed Texas steak. Any suggestions?

  1. There are several in the area. The chains (Ruth's Chris, The Palm, Morton's) are all on or close to the riverwalk. Bohanan's is more local, but can get very expensive.

Most chains use one supplier, Morton's gets its steaks in its native Chicago for instance, so probably Bohanan's or something like Texas Land and Cattle would have home grown steaks.

    2. Bohanan's is local, with it's own distinctive atmosphere (as opposed to RC, Mortons, Palm that are the same everywhere) but pricier, especially if you choose their (akaushi? kobe?- not sure which adjetive they're using) upgrade that rapidly pushes it near 3 figures PP. Would highly reccomend their downstairs bar (with a limited -and more reasonably priced bar menu also) if you're looking for well crafted adult beverages.

A family emergency prevented us from coming to San Antonio this time. But thanks for the suggestions.
