Weekday late lunch/early dinner after Barnes Museum

I am coming up to Philadelphia in July on a weekday to visit the new Barnes museum. I am meeting a friend and we would like to have a late lunch/early dinner after we visit the museum. Our entry time is 12:30 so likely we would be eating around 3:00pm. Lots of places close for lunch at 2:30/3:00 and re-open at 5:00 so we are sort of betwixt and between. Does not have to be close to the Barnes but also don't want a production getting there. Some place nice since this is also a birthday celebration. All cuisines and types of restaurant suggestions welcome.

Late afternoon is usually a good time to try Village Whiskey, which is a cheap taxi ride or about a mile walk from the Barnes.

+1. Great idea. The burger is a must here. Pure heaven.

One place to consider is Dandelion, the gastropub from Stephen Starr. It does not close, and while their menu adjusts at 3pm for afternoon tea. The tea menu does include savory items like welsh rarebit as well as a standard burger.

Thanks for this suggestion. It does look interesting and definitely fits our time slot.
