Need some for a recipe, and can't seem to find it anywhere ... tried several WFs and TJs.

  1. Camping and survivalist stores.

There was a similar topic on the Ontario board. Is this for a Momofuku cookie recipe? Until cooks like this started to use it to add an intense corn flavor, no one was interested in freeze dried vegetables except those who wanted long shelf life or light weight.

Yessir, that's exactly what it is for. Never even crossed my mind to check out a camping store, though I guess it should have. Know of any (esp. in SO/Studio City)?

Nearest REI is Devonshire and Reseda in Northridge. Bonus is its not far from Brent's Deli or you can go across the street to the Galleria, a Korean supermarket with a good food court.

Doh! Thanks. My brain is clearly not working today.

Not that today is any different from other days! ;-)

I didn't check but I would guess that A16 on Pico and Pontius has it too...

Sport Chalet is your local chain that carries backpacking food (though I don't corn in the online selection).

        2. This is way far, but there's a Honeyville outlet store in Rancho Cucamonga/Ontario that sells plenty of survivalist items. They also sell their items online via their website, I think.

          1. Major Surplus and Survival in Gardena on S. Figueroa and Alondra

            1. There's an A16 just north of Ventura Blvd on Reseda.
