In search of: Red currants
Does anyone know of stores or farmer's markets in the DC area that sells red currants (groseille rouge)? It may be a little bit early in the summer for them, but if anyone has seen them in years past a good lead would be appreciated.

There is a vendor at the Alexandria Farmers Market that has had them in years past. Did not see currants when I went this morning. The vendor is usually placed just across from the little grandstand on the square. My dad has a currant bush in his backyard (Fairfax) and they are just starting to turn red so maybe the markets will have them in the next week or two
