What do you have to share about the dining here?

I have eaten there recently, as my volleyball league holds our banquet there

Admittedly the banquet food might not be the best way to judge a joint, but whilev the food is pretty bad, the place seems basically a dingy, moldy carpet "was good in 1970" kind of place.

I have in fact gone there willingly about 4 yrars ago and ordered off the menu and will tell you the exact same thing.

I always get annoyed when people trash a place while admitting they haven't been IN YEARS.

So I took a look at their website. Punched up the lunch menu and they lost me with the first two items - Buff Wings with the bone, Buff wings boneless. Has anyone ever had boneless wings?

Scrolling down, just reading the we serve everything but the kitchen sink gave me a tummy ache.

In Winthrop there is Alia (I hope I spelled it correclty) and Blackstrap Bar B Que.
Tacos Lupita has zereo atmosphere but great burritos.

I'll second the suggestion to avoid this place. The last time I was there, granted it's was a few years ago, the place was dirty and nothing we ordered was decent or memorable.

I've heard good things about the Blue Ox from friends. I love the tacos and quesadilla at Taco Lupita, 129 Munroe St., Lynn. It's a whole in the whole type place but yummy.

+1 on the Blue Ox and I'd also recommend The Antique Table.
City Grill in Vinnin Sq is good although a bit pricey.
If you want to venture up to Salem 62 on the Wharf is excellent
