Need a place to stop for lunch before and after a weekend at the Shakespeare Festival in June.

Looking for an I-5 thread to add a few notes to.

I was in Mt Shasta for a couple of nights last week. Had decent trout and good happy hour cocktails at the Treehouse Best Western.

But the best meal was at Asian-American BBQ in Weed, run by a delightful Laotian couple. Grilled chicken and pork tips with sticky rice, inexpensive and served with a smile for <$10. They offer soup and recommended the burger. Open 7 days from 11 or 12 until 8. Easy on and off the freeway, across from the Weed gate with a great view of Mt. Shasta.
