Foods that pass the "Pizza and Ice Cream Test"
My friends and I have recently started a short list of those ingredients that are so delicious that they make both pizza and ice cream taste better. Here it is thus far:
-Peanut butter (Peanut butter chocolate swirl ice cream; Thai chicken pizza)
-Creme fraiche (Add a dollop to any home-made ice cream to make it richer and creamier; creme fraiche, caramelized onion, and roasted mushroom pizza)
-Balsamic Vinegar (raspberry and reduced balsamic ice cream; lightly drizzle balsamic or balsamic reduction over margherita pizza)
That's all we have so far. Any other suggestions? If you do have any, recipes are strongly encouraged.

honey -- honey bbq chicken pizza and honey vanilla ice cream
black pepper -- on pizza however and balsamic strawberries with black pepper over vanilla (or another) ice cream
sour cream -- with avocado, roasted corn, beans, etc on pizza and in ice cream
pistachios -- interesting ground into sauce and in or on ice cream

re: ipsedixit
I say no to almost everything on that list.
There's a difference between "and is still edible" & "makes both taste BETTER."In fact, the only other ingredient I've seen posted so far that would work would be cashews. Maybe.
Adding to the "and is still edible" list, consider bananas and, separately, cucumbers.
