25 Montreal Restaurants Over 25 Years Old

The title says it all. Thought this was an interesting list - with more in the comments. For those who don't read French, all testaurants had to not be part of a chain and been in continuous operation for 25 years or more, not including temporary closures due to fire or whatever.

DiMenna on Jarry near Langelier has been open for over 40 years and it is still in the family. The son took over from his father and they still use the same recipe for their pizza sauce, which is the best I have ever eaten!

I'm pretty sure that Green Spot and Nouveau Systeme on Notre-Dame O. have been around since the 1940's or earlier.

Cosmos on Sherbrook in NDG. Little hole in the wall with the best breakfasts. I've watched an entire generation change over in that place.
