Mantra in Paramus and Tandoori Chef in Hackensack

I live in Hackensack, quite close to both of these Indian restaurants, but plans to eat there never seem to work out. I plan on trying both over this weekend, especially because I got a Groupon for Mantra and I think I have an old coupon for Tandoori Chef as well. Any recommendations for dishes at either of the two restaurants? I've never had any luck finding decent Indian in Bergen County - Brick Lane in Ridgewood was decent but I felt it was overpriced.
