Need a great roll for a warm Tenderloin of Beef Sandwich

I am looking for a great roll to serve a warm tenderloin sandwich at a catered event. Any suggestions? I was thinking of a brioche roll, but am open to suggestions.

Not sure what part of town you're in but many of the Armenian bakeries have something called "finger bread" that I find to be the perfect consistency, texture and chewiness for this kind of sandwich. While the bread itself will have the be cut up into portion-sized pieces, you can also look for the sandwich roll sized loaves made from the same dough. I know that Jon's Markets sell them.

The bread appears to be made simply from what appears to be basic APF (I'm no baker) and is on the pleasantly chewy side as opposed to the somewhat crumbly, eggy texture of brioche.

Thank you. Really excellent description. I'm on my way to Jon's tomorrow morning!

My pleasure! I've used this style of bread before for everything - burgers, pork tenderloin sandwiches, pulled pork and Italian beef. Let us know what you chose and how it was received.
