Dos Banderas Mexican - Tinton Falls

Had seen this place for some time in a little strip mall off Asbury Ave, finally decided to check it out. Tried the spicy beef tacos and was quite impressed with the quality. 3 tacos for $6.95 was nicely affordable too. From what I've read the place has been open for over 5 years and seems to be doing a respectable lunch business.

A nice basket of freshly cooked chips is served with a small bowl of a traditional salsa roja, but I highly recommend that you ask for some of their extra spicy salsa verde. They offered a bottle of El Yucateco habanero sauce but it was not necessary. The salsa verde was a perfect accompaniment to the tacos.
