St. Simons Island - Dining Alone

I am coming to St. Simons Island for a wedding in a week, and will be arriving too late to go to the rehearsal dinner. Anyplace I should checkout for dinner on a Friday night? I'll be dining alone, and would prefer no BBQ. Anyplace with a good wine list or a fun/creative menu. Fine dining options are great too.

If you're open to fine dining then hands-down, bar none, you need to go to the Georgian Room at The Cloister on Sea Island (5 - 15 minutes from where you'll be staying on St. Simons Island). It is the only five star restaurant in Georgia and it earns every bit of it. The restaurant and resort as a whole are simply breathtaking. The Cloister is the only twenty star, twenty diamond resort in all of America [five stars and five diamonds for two properties (The Cloister and The Lodge), one restaurant (The Georgian Room), and one spa (The Cloister Spa)]. I cannot recommend the Georgian Room to you enough. I can almost guarantee it will be one of the culinary highlights of your entire life. It is simply dining perfection.

I would recommend dining in the bar at Delaney's or Halyards. Both would fit you bill well.
