Roasted Pear in BP?

Driving by Target HQ today I saw that Morgans has been replaced by Roasted Pear. Anyone been yet? Is this the same as the other Roasted Pear in town?

I'd never heard of Roasted Pear in Burnsville, but after looking at the menu, I hope it is the same. We could use something new in BP. Have you been there and is it good?

Same people as the one in Burnsville (where I live). Despite being a couple miles away, it's not really in our regular rotation. I always groan when the first thing I hear about a restaurant is: "we're going to offer 'upscale casual' burgers and sandwiches, pasta, steaks, salads and we have a brick oven for pizzas".

It's the same food you can get in a million other places. Not horrible, but nothing unique at all.

True but there aren't a million of those places in or near Brooklyn Park. The Nectar in dt Osseo and 3 Squares over in Maple Grove are the only ones I can think of in that NW corner off of 694.

Yeah I agree...we need somethng new. Mad Jacks is as close as we come and that's not saying much either. And I've never been to Nectar...everytime I drive by it's closed. I was starting to wonder if it was even in business.

There aren't a bunch of Ruby Tuesday-like restaurants in that part of town?? Houlihans and Granite City Brewery are both better and have locations up there. I feel like I see a whole ton of upscale chains every time I pass through that area. Sure, supporting an independent place is nice, but the food isn't special.

Yeah there are a ton of chain restaurants in Maple Grove. Not much of anything in Brooklyn Park. And I don't think much of Houlihans. Granite City is ok.

If you aren't crazy about those you won't be overjoyed with Roasted Pear. Same level of quality/excitement.
