Small Wedding Dinner Advice Please!
My fiance and I are coming in to SF to get married at the City Hall, and we are not super familiar with the city. We would like to book a super special dinner for the evening of the wedding to celebrate with our families. It will be a total of 10 people including a baby.
Any suggestions for places?
Priorities are:
1) Truly delicious food
2) Warm friendly service
3) Bustling atmosphere on the loud side that will be accepting of a baby / or private room
4) Nice / fairly upscale interior (not so fancy that a baby would be inappropriate to bring)
5) Serves wine / beer
All cuisines are ok. We love all types of food, just must be delicious!

ok the plot thickens...
thanks for all the dinner advice! we are planning to now move the dinner to the night before the wedding and thinking of going with kokkari.
after the wedding, we are now planning to have a celebratory lunch right after the ceremony. for lunch I have read that Zuni, Absinthe and Boulevard are good options. but I am attracted to more "light", garden like, atmospheric places like the Garden Court or the Rotunda at Neiman Marcus in terms of decor. do people like the food at Garden Court or the Rotunda? or if not, is there a place in town with similar "gardeny" atmosphere but excellent food?

Maybe group dining at Incanto would work? The Dante room is a minimum of $1500 if you're willing to go past $1000?

re: esesms
I don't know that I'd recommend Barbacco with a baby. It's a long, narrow restaurant, and there's no private room. The food is really great, the service is very friendly, and it's definitely bustling, but very FiDi... I don't think I've ever seen a kid in there. What time are you planning for your reception?

Congratulations! We had our wedding reception for 30 at One Market after getting married at City Hall. They did an outstanding job. Your party is small enough to consider the private room at Perbacco as well. And we just had a fabulous meal at Prospect, which also has a private room.
What's your budget?
