Per Se Extended Menu Reservation Question - Is it Lunch Only?

Looking to eat there late June. Was wondering if I had to do an 11:30am seating or do I have the option of a 5:30pm seating as well to do the extended tasting menu. I am trying to figure out what reservation to shoot for on opentable.

Thanks in advance.

l do not think l could have done it at dinner. My flesh and spirit would not have been up to it. Lunch, while many hours, seemed a breeze. Do it again in a flash, with the same company as well.

I beleve Per Se permits the extended menu reservation for lunch and dinner. I did the lunch extended menu at the end of February, and it took over 5 1/2 hours. Fantastic experience!

Ellenost, you and uhockey gave actually gave me the idea. After reading your posts, I felt compelled to return.

        Thanks for that.

It's funny: when uhockey told me that he was able to get an 11:30 lunch reservation, I was thinking: "who wants to eat lunch that early?", but since the lunch ended a few minutes before the first people were to be seated for dinner, it was perfectly timed. Now that I know how long the extended tasting menu is, I prefer the lunch version since I think I'd be half asleep by the time the dinner would be done. Have a great time!

ellenost - do they also do an extended version of the vegetable menu (I would assume so but you know what they say about assuming). And is it still a $150 supplement for the extended (not included any supplements based upon selections).

I would suggest that you call the restaurant to be certain. I can't imagine why they wouldn't be able to have an extended tasting vegetable menu since they're one of the few restaurants that offers the vegetable menu. They were very accommodating to me for my food preferences.

I think my schedule will require a 5:30 dinner seating, which is not so bad, sort of like going there at 8 for a regular meal. Thanks.
