Rib Challenge at Three Dogz Diner

BlueMagic May 20, 2012 10:33 AM

Yesterday, ThreeDogz Diner held their first ever rib challenge. I went with a group of family/friends and we enjoyed some fantastic ribs and laughs. One guy even completed the challenge, which was to eat an entire rack of ribs ( approximately 14) in ten minutes. I failed miserably ( I ate four), but had a great time and once again, the ribs are some of the best I've ever had..hands down.

ThreeDogz smokes ribs every Saturday and serves them for their Saturday dinner menu. If you are in the area, and enjoy good ribs, then this is a must try.

10 minutes!!!...last time I ordered a full rack, it fed two for two meals. When they say a full rack, it's a full rack.

Treb...tell me about it. We will be reheating ribs for a couple of days! They guy in the very back table of this picture was the winner. Not that I was even trying( clearly I was more interested in taking pictures..lol), but my cousin watched him and after the first two minutes she predicted he would win. Even my son was no match! The owners made it a lot of fun though.

Looks like your daughter, in the pic, has the making of a great foodie. No fooling around with that rib!

haha..no..she never fools around where food is concerned :-) She is actually my niece and she definitely has the makings of a foodie. She has never had babyfood from a jar, food from a box, or McDonalds...and she loves good food..lol

A full rack of spare ribs is not an unreasonable amount for one dinner--and the owners know that, ofherwise they wouldn't impose a time limit. Eating a whole dinner in 10 minutes is a good way to make yourself sick.

A full rack of baby back ribs, OTOH, is an entirely unreasonable thing to ask anyone to eat for any reason.

Not there, but I've eaten lots of full racks elsewhere. Pigs just don't get very big! :-D
