PINK Quinoa? How? Where??

I was at "Lemonade" today, and they had a fantastic looking quinoa salad. The quinoa was PINK... not brick red, but bright, almost fuschia Barbie pink.

How/where do you get pink quinoa??

You can make ordinary white quinoa pink by cooking it with beets, but quinoa naturally comes in a range of colors. For example: http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B003...

Possibly cooked with beets or colored with beet juice?

Even if the beets are cooked separately and added to the salad, the pink will bleed and intensify as it sits. I think I'll make that for lunch today.

Yep, if the OP google pink quinoa, they will find that it is about beets. There was one for a pink quinoa salad.
