Bonsoiree-BYOB

Hello,
I have reservations for Bonsoiree in a couple of weeks. Can someone explain to me about how the BYOB works with the restaurant? Their email says to contact 3 liquor stores for pairing. Does that mean the restaurant doesn't serve up any beverages?

Thanks

They do not sell alcohol, hence the "BYOB" advice. You bring whatever you want, and they will serve it to you. The liquor store references are merely recommendations of local stores familiar with their menu and willing to help guide you, but you don't have to use these options. Bring any amount and variety you wish of wine, beer, or spirits. The Bonsoiree staff is exceptionally skilled and knowledgeable, and will be able to pair your selections with each course. Have a great time!

They do actually sell wine now, but you are still free to BYOB with no corkage fee. Details here: http://www.bonsoireechicago.com/Wine....

Thanks, mcgeary, for the update. That is news to me and new to me since our visit in November.
