beeef fat versus pork fatback?

I have alot of beef fat in the freezer and wondering if i can use this the same way i could use pork fat... sausages.. larding.. grinding burgers etc.

its fat i seperated from butchering beef hearts.

  1. Beef fat is harder and melts at a higher temperature. To me it isn't nearly as palatable as pork. Historical uses that I can think of are tallow candles (poor man's alternative to beeswax), suet pudding, and McDonalds fries (or deep fat frying in general).

    1. I grind....into sausage and burger... sometimes.
