Also in Scarsdale, there is a dairy Seasons location (called the Gourmet Chef) which has take-out food with a couple of tables I think. It is basically a dairy deli counter. There's also a new vegetarian/vegan restaurant in that same shopping center. It has wraps, smoothies, etc. I don't recall if it's vegetarian or vegan. It's called ANDY'S PURE FOOD and it's certified by Vaad HaRabbonim of Queens.

Nothing really is around there, unfortunately - I don't believe there are any hechshered places in Westchester outside standard take-out places. But if you go to Riverdale (about 15-20 minutes away), there are a few nice sit down places.
* Cafeccino Bakery (269 W 231 St) - the best pizza I've tasted in NY, nice omelets, wraps, etc.
* Carlos and Gabby's (259th and Riverdale Avenue, SW corner)
* Gruenbaum's Bakery (259th and Riverdale Avenue, in Skyview Shopping Center)
* Corner Cafe and Bakery (between 236th and 238th on Riverdale Avenue) with an adjoining meat place called the Corner GrillThere are others (Judean Hills Pizza, Ginger Grill, Two Cousins Burger, Riverdelight) as well.
Hope that helps.

re: DeisCane
guess so :) I guess with living between NYC and Westchester that I forget about the one up north...
Still, there's really nothing in Westchester compared to Riverdale. Wish they would consider opening more Kosher eateries there and I might consider relocation one of these days...
