Food mill recommendations?

Hello all!

I'm in the market for a food mill. Never having owned one before, I don't know what to look for. Does anyone have one that they love? Or any advice as to what to look for?

There are a great number of manufacturers and many sizes and prices. Not advocating buying off ebay, but it is a good place to find the many brands available ranging in price from $20 upwards to $200 or more, depending upon make and country of origin. Then research the manufacturers website, and shop for the best price.

I have had the Rösle one a few years and really like it. As far as features, interchangeable discs in sizes you will use and well designed grips on the bottom to help it not slip off the bowl while using. Personally I can't stand the OXO grips, they are straight and they fold.

Go to Amazon.com and search for "food mill". Filter results by Average Customer Review. This will give you the two or three you should be looking at.

I did just this an decided on the OXO Good Grips Food Mill.
