Dune, Nassau review - Stunning location, lovely food but all at a price
This restaurant is part of the One & Only Ocean Club so you have to expect it is going to be high end and expensive but sometimes you just have to treat yourself! The decor is beautiful - very modern and sleek with a gorgeous view of the ocean. The bar just as you are entering the restaurant is also fantastic - it's a separate little white building with a stunning lit onyx bar as its centrepiece. A worthwhile stop before or after dinner.
The food was delicious and better than I expected. I had a tasty gazpacho to start followed by an amazingly cooked rack of lamb. Although beware when ordering sides - I paid $10 for what was essentially a couple of tablespoons of mashed potatoes!
My only complaint here is the service. Early on in our dinner our waiter accidentally tipped my bowl of olive oil spilling some on the table runner. I expected that the runner would be changed but after 10 minutes we actually had to ask that this be done - not the 5 star service I would expect. I also found they were a little slow at bringing our drinks in a timely fashion
Just for the atmosphere alone though I would come back here - despite the service hiccups I enjoyed it immensely
