There is a lot of good pizza in Southwestern CT, but have heard that COALHOUSE pizza on High Ridge Rd is awesome. I heard they do everything well and have a great beer selection. I am going to try it this weekend and was looking for some feedback on the restaurant and what to order.

  1. I have been to Coalhouse Pizza many times. They seem to use good quality ingredients and the food is always great! The last time I was there they had significantly expanded their menu and beer selection. I love their wings, I think they are the best in the area. They are not deep fried and not greasy. I've had many of the salads, they are always very fresh; although it seems sometimes some of the ingredients in the description are missing. Their pizza is thin crust, more like flatbread, one of my favorites is 'Kind of Blue'. All of the wraps and sandwiches are new additions so I have yet to try those. Enjoy!

    1. I love Coalhouse - great beer selection and some very creative pizzas. A personal favorite is topped with goat cheese, pears, and pistachios but they many more, ranging from the unique (Korean BBQ) to traditional.
