help! unidentified Tribeca tiny restaurant
a few weeks ago, i was walking from meatpacking to walkers in tribeca, and along the way i passed by the smallest restaurant/bar ever. i noticed that it was cute but forgot to remember the name. now i'm OBSESSED with figuring out what the place was.
it seemed to serve food and drink
it looks like it could hold a total of maybe 4 small tables
doesn't seem to be any further space in back or upstairs (at least not from my quick look)
i think i was heading east and it was on the north side. but i could've been heading south and it was on the east side.
south of canal, north of walkers on moore street.
any ideas? this is driving me NUTS! hopefully some chow detectives can figure this out.
thanks!

i ended up checking out smith & mills last night since i was so excited to finally know the name and location of the place.
the dark & stormy cocktail was great, and for dinner i had oysters (fresh), the burger (great, and came w/homemade potato chips), and the mussels (delicious broth and great bread for soaking).
i thought everything was good, although i admit my expectations were really low b/c it looked like they did all their cooking and prep in one little corner of the bar and w/those hot plates.
thanks for helping me figure out the place's name!

I'm going to guess you mean Smith & Mills on N. Moore St. (between Greenwich & Hudson).
Nah . . . I'm probably wrong. You said above N. Moore St. -- and I'm sure you know Smith & Mills.
