Birthday party bar in West Village/Chelsea/nearby?

Hi all,

I'm having a little get-together for my 25th birthday, and would love some recommendations for a fun/casual bar! We won't be too many people--maybe about 10--and I'd love for us to grab a table area early without a reservation or any sort of fee (including no covers!). Would love something with music, but nothing too loud or clubby, and great drinks! An outdoor space would be a bonus! Any ideas? Open to suggestions outside the West Village and Chelsea if they're really great!

i havent been in a year but entwine on washington is a good idea for this. they have a nice backyard garden, decent drink list...nice spot...

Thanks, I actually checked it out last night! Looks really cute, but a little small. I'm leaning toward Sweet & Vicious in Nolita.
