Food along I-90

We are going to be traveling along I-90 from Rapid City South Dakota to Chicago. Any food suggestions?? Many thanks

Perhaps taking a look at Jane & Michael Stern's site Roadfood.com would help you with suggestions. You have to subscribe to get to the Maps feature, but you can do a search by state or narrow it down to a particular city without subscribing.

That's a good idea. I think they've recommended the Tea Steak House and Lange's Cafe. I've been to Lange's. If you are there and hungry, it's not bad. I'm not sure any of the places you find along I-90 are worth a detour.

Do you have any planned stops or know what time of day you'll be passing through certain places? That would help with suggestions.

We will leave Badlands on Monday morning and can leisurely travel over Monday and Tuesday to Chicago. Happy to detour, that is no problem.

I've done the Sioux Falls to Albert Lea part of that drive. There's not so much that is good. Blue Line Cafe in Worthington is ok (pretty typical diner food and right off I-90). There are a ton of chains in the Sioux Falls area and a couple of local places, but none are especially close to I-90. How far afield are you looking to travel?
