Upscale restaurant for a business dinner/meeting?

jennifer42 May 16, 2012 11:29 AM

I need something off the beaten path, open on Sunday, and where four people can comfortably talk (not loud). My first choices were Local (closed on Sunday) and Lucia (already booked up, of course). We are already going to Abacus on this trip, so that's out too. And being not from Dallas, I've exhausted all options that I know of. Suggestions? No chains please, something local for sure.

ETA: We will be staying in Dallas, at the Hyatt Regency. Cabbing it is not a problem. Something too close to the hotel/conference would be.

Thanks in advance!

Tei-An is open on Sunday and is quiet. They also have a private room that is too big for 4 of course, but often they have regular tables in there--I've sat in there more than once, along with another party. You probably don't need the extra privacy, but you would get a bit more in that room.

Should be no problem getting a quiet table at Fearing's on a Sunday night.
