Where can I find crumpets?

Anyone know where I can find crumpets - english muffin's cousin :)

Anywhere in greater Boston would do.

Roche Bros also carries them. They are in the bakery section, but they are not "home made". My wife is English and she eats them so I assume they are at least half decent.

They are in nearly every supermarket around here, next to the English muffins. Stop and Shop, Star, Trader Joe's, etc..

I've seen them at Whole Foods as well. Dedham and Brookline for sure.

Hi thanks for responding. Which Star Market has them? Do you have an address?

I get them at the Star Mkt on rte 9 in Chestnut Hill, and the small one on Beacon St. in Brookline. I used to live in the UK, and they're pretty close to the original.
