what is best thing to order at percy st bbq?

big bbq fan.What do you recommend i order here?

    Have found the wet brisket, thus fatty, the pecan pie and the mac/cheese the best things on menu. Problem is that sometimes each of the items is perfect, sometimes way less than perfect.
    Have not figured out why, does not depend on day of week, maybe a chef change, time of day, too much cooking, or any factor l can think of. Biggest crap shoot of any restaurant l can recall.

      By wet you mean the fattier cuts or some alternative to the dry smoked brisket?

        Remember they offered brisket as does Hill Country in Manhattan, where you can get lean, thus drier, and fattier, thus moister. Could have my memories askew.

          Yes they do offer lean and fatty options... just wasn't sure what you meant by "wet," never heard of it referred to that way. The brisket is served dry with optional sauce on the side. And fatty is the way to go for sure.

            I have actually had both lean and moist brisket (and also tried the burnt ends one day). The moist is very good but can be a bit fatty given the part of the brisket that it's cut from (the top part I believe). Even the lean is usually quite moist so I tend to stick with that.

      The brisket is the way to go. Also make sure to get either the banana cream or the pecan pie.

        +1 the brisket. It's dry rubbed Texas style.
