      1. expensive real estate

        1. Depending on timing, Villa Mexico is still open. If you are looking for food to bring back to the hotel, you couldn't do any better than a burrito from Villa Mexico.

i wouldn't send my worst enemy to Villa Mexico. I thought they were supposed to have been closed by now, so i wouldn't have to warn people anymore.

          2. Antonio's for reasonable but good red sauce Italian

I second Antonio's! Great food for the prices... I will also mention one of my favorites: Grotto. It's on the back side of Beacon Hill, a little out of the way place that you'd probably walk by if not looking for it... they have a spectacular prix fixe dinner menu: 3 courses for $36. The garlic soup is heavenly. Gnocchi with short ribs & gorgonzola is so savory. Banana bread pudding with caramel ice cream is the perfect finish. Every bite is worth it!

yes, Grotto is a pretty consistent CH fav. (The dishes you mentioned are some of our favs too!)
