Looking for 1 or 2 great foie gras dishes FOR TAKEOUT

Hi Gang,

I'm going to a high end potluck dinner later this week, and I need to bring an interesting dish. Any ideas where I can get a nice foie gras-based dish for takeout? Any form will do.

I really like seared foie gras though, so if any 'Hounds would be kind enough to point me in the right direction for a good seared foie gras dish, it would be especially appreciated.

As always, Thanks in Advance!

J.L.

I had ravioli stuffed with fois gras recently at Scarpetta. It was mighty good.

This one isn't easy! A challenge. Maybe Jiraffe?

If you're asking for more than a few orders - you could probably get Maison Giraud to do a little menu customization to accomodate you. (and they have take-out).

Last time at Wally's cheese shop they mentioned they sell foie gras cast offs. Why not go there buy the trimming pieces and make a foie gras stuffing to take to the party? A seared goose liver is for the here and now. It's not a cash and carry dish.
