Ducky Life Tea

Anyone have experience with this company? They're located in Monmouth County. I met the owner at a Farmers Market. She seems to know her stuff, and one sample I tried was ok, but hard to tell for sure as it was cool. I'd like to find a decent local purveyor rather than rely on mail order.

I've been buying ducky life tea for several years now, since the owner showed up at the Boonton farmer's market, and found it to be very high quality and INTERESTING. not your usual stuff. take a look at the teas in the tins on the counter - you can see the leaves - they're not broken, and not dust. And that extends to the bottom of the tin.

And they're VERY easy to deal with for mail order [or email order, as the case may be!]. and ya gotta love those cute little clothespins! i want to collect them all!

LOL!!! they're tiny - about 1/2 inch. they look like clothespins, with a little doo-dad glued on - a heart, a chick, SOMETHING cute - and they're painted a bright color. the latest one I received was turquoise. just right as a bookmark, or to keep a wall calendar open to the right page.

Googled the product (BTW folks it's tea, artisan style) and it appears to be a local small business, located in Monmouth Co. I could find no other "outlets" tho' I am sure you can email them and ask directly.

You're correct, they are a local operation. That could be a plus or a minus. I'm wondering if their product is as good as it sounds, since their size might prevent them from getting top notch products. On the other hand, they've been around for a few years, even in this economy, so they must be doing something right.

Sorry I completely missed your thread two months ago! I am the owner of the company, and it is still kicking... duckylife.com

I was in many wholesale settings like Whole foods, Delicious Orchards and the like, but ultimately opted to keep the price of the tea reasonable by selling direct.

Now, you can buy the tea at various farmer's markets and high end crafts festivals in NJ, NY, VT, CT --- where our "Tea-osk" owners take to the road.
OR, you can buy it online. If you are local you can pick up in Eatontown, or we also deliver.

          Thanks for your interest...
BTW --- we do the Red Bank Farmer's Market most Sundays --- Chatham, Boonton, Stamford and a couple others on Saturdays.
