well, I live down the street from Vinnie's and often pick it up from their to go case in the deli, and when it's not in there, they will dish some up from the sandwich bar. I do believe they make it in house, but ahead of time, for restaurant patrons, and then heat it up "to order." It heats up fine, by the way, as I know from the using up my leftovers.

Can you believe GG didn't have any Eggpland Parmesan yesterday.. LOL
Good thing I only traveled 1/2 a mile to get there.
We ordered squid ink pasta meh! fettucini al porcini meh! calamari fritti meh!
pizza with tartufo good but soupy, arucola pizza also good but soupy. Great wine, super Tuscan and a house white I had never heard of, tiramisu more custard than cake and a napoleon type desert meh! Overall I think GG is slipping a bit although the service was righ t on.-

Bummer. This thread had me craving good eggplant parm so I ordered takeout from Gran Gusto, along with a side of pasta and the fettuccine w/ porcinis. I was crushed when they called back a few minutes later to say they were out of eggplant. I agree, the fettuccine was just okay. The red sauce on the pasta side was awesome, though.
