Looking for lobster in a hurry!

grayelf May 12, 2012 05:56 PM

Tall order, o excellent Hounds. A family friend is looking for a lobster meal of the non-Asian variety for Monday and the venue needs to be wheelchair accessible. I thought maybe somewhere like Joe Fortes might work if it was accessible but I'm kinda at a loss. Don't even know if it's in season (though I do know of course that it will have to be flown in at any event). They are based in Ladner so a 'burb in that direction would work, or downtown/Vancouver proper. Any thoughts would be most appreciated.

No idea, just that they want lobster cooked for them in a sitdown restaurant.

Richmond Keg on No. 5 Road or Yaletown.Keg (near the Canada Line station)

        Not the most chow-worthy
of destinations and I don't know if they have lobster all the time (or how accessible they are), but the Boathouse restaurants offer a lobster dinner.
