Early Morning Boston
Will be in Boston for a few days in early June. Arrive at Logan at 5:45 AM on a Sat. and should get to my Beacon Hill area hotel around 6:45AM. No early check in, so after I drop off my suitcase, I am on the town until 3 pm. I was thinking of going to Braisserie Jo for breakfast and then doing a Chinatown walking tour or starting the day at the Clover truck that is now on the Commons. Any other suggestions are welcome. I will not have a car, but am a frequent visitor to Boston and know my way around the T. Thanks for your help.

A few breakfast options walking distance from Beacon Hill that open at 8am on a Saturday.
- Tatte Bakery and Cafe in Kendall Square
- The Paramount in Beacon Hill
- Mike and Patty's in Bay VillageI've never been to Brasserie Jo for breakfast, so maybe someone else can chime in on that option.
The Chinatown walking/eating tour sounds like a good way to spend the time afterwards.

Brasserie is not a place to have breakfast alone, IMHO. The paramount is on charles and will give you a great breakfast for half the price
Maybe grab a coffee to go and a newspaper, and spend a few minutes sitting in the public garden near the swan boats. Walk up commonwealth ave a few block and cut over to Newbury.
Lots to do-
re: libertywharf
bj has patio tables and since it's the main restaurant for the hotel serves plenty of solo diners.
the beacon hill bistro also opens for breakfast, at 7:00. then a nice walk through the public garden and the common on your way to chinatown.
or stroll up the comm ave. mall to kenmore and have breakfast at eastern standard. they also open at 7:00. and you can get a mimosa there at 8:00. ;)
