How do you know if an oil is hydrogenated? [moved from Home Cooking]

I'm trying a diet that says to avoid hydrogenated oils. I usually use extra virgin olive oil, but sometimes use other things like sesame oil or peanut oil. How do I know which oils are hydrogenated? Maybe I should have posed this under "special diets"?

Hydrogenated oils are solid at (not hot) room temperature, the way Crisco or margarine are. It's possible for this to be an oil's natural state, as in virgin coconut oil, but none of the ones you mention are.
