Great places to eat in Campbell/Los Gatos

I'm moving to Campbell and I really want to get some insider tips on some great places to dine. Could be a place that does amazing dessert, or amazing noodles.

Help me not end up at chuck e cheese!

Aqui, Dio Deka, Psycho Donuts (I don't really like donuts, but at least they have interesting combinations and flavors, esp. the Dead Elvis donut.)

Yes Falafe drive in is amazing. We live no where near here so I've had to start making my own - almost as good. I prefer the chocolate banana shake.

Guess this is a little late, but if anyone is dining in Los Gatos any time soon, I like Fleur de Cocoa ( http://www.fleurdecocoa.com/ ) for lunch, chocolates and pastries, and Dio Deka (http://www.diodeka.com/) for dinner.

Fleur de cocoa is positively amazing. However I hear the French baker is moving to Australia so I'm not sure they will be able to keep up their standards. My favorite thing to do is go on a Sunday morning and then walk to the Los Gatos FM.

Yes, Fleur de Cocoa changed hands a month ago. Here's my post on the summer time only ice creams and sorbets. They're probably done for the season.

Friend of mine recently went to Nick's on Main in Los Gatos for lunch & was pleasantly surprised by the good food. I haven't been but menu looks good & seems to be reasonably priced. Knowing my friend, she probably had seafood.

Blue Line makes excellent Chicago Style pizza and is near there.

Manresa if you want to break the budget.

There's Curry House for Japanese curry which is decent, and there is a Chinese bakery and a new dessert place in that same complex.

+1 for Blue Line. It's not what I think of as traditional Chicago style since the crust is predominantly cornmeal rather than wheat flour, but I really like it, especially the Classic deep dish. Same people as Little Star in SF.

Psycho Donuts on the edge of downtown Campbell has got all sorts of crazy combinations. I'm more a honey-glazed raised donut person myself so it's not quite for me but I'm glad I tried it.

Dan Izakaya is just a few blocks from the Campbell border. I didn't much care for their ramen, but their izakaya dishes (grilled, fried, stir-fried, etc.) are excellent. Just up the street is Santouka in the Mitsuwa shopping center. Top two ramen (with Orenchi) in the South Bay for me.
