Tide and Boar

My husband and I saw Tide and Boar on You Gotta Eat Here. It's in Moncton, NB. We are heading on a road trip out east soon and are thinkg of planning a stop at this place.

One of the dishes we saw that we want to try was the Pulled Boar Poutine.

Has anyone been here? Any reviews? TIA

Went there for lunch a few months ago. Had the chowder and salad. Both were very good...except they had grit in them. Not a lot, but someone didn't clean the lettuce or clams enough. Service was nice, too. I'll probably go back there on Friday when I'm back in town, for a second try.

      Thanks for the review.
That is too bad about the grit. I also enjoy chowder.
I would not think to have Poutine in Moncton since I'm passing through Quebec on the way, however DH and I want it after see it on the show and plan to make a stop scheduled around it.

Let me know how your second try goes. Would love to hear.

Was there for lunch today. Had the Banh mi po boy with boar pate and deep fried halibut nuggets. Sounds weird but it was a great combination and very fresh. The salad was great. Lots of nuts and roasted vegetables and not a hint of grit.

OMG, I'm drooling and that does not sound weird at all. I'm going to have a tough time deciding what to order. Hopefully they have a combo plate or I'll have to figure something out. Thanks again for the reviews. I'm thinking your going back again soon...lol.
