Thai chicken noodle soup bowls

Hi all,

I used to live in Thailand as kid and I remember going to these tiny noodle shops where they would serve these huge heaping bowls of soup. The one that I am craving for is the chicken noodle soup that is topped with bean sprouts, pickled radish?, crushed peanuts and assorted other flavor toppings.
I have come close to the soup when living in San Francisco but now starting the hunt out here.

Does anyone have any idea where I could find such a dish?

Thanks!

dewione, if khao soi is your goal, you might want to know (or you might not) that Trader Joe's sells a frozen khao soi that alot of CHs are raving about on the TrJ thread on the Chains forum. I haven't tried it yet myself.

Thai North (Faneuil Street, Brighton) has Khao Soi, which fits your description and it's delicious.

OP may also be looking for the fairly plain chicken soup with thin rice noodles that's served with ground chicken, crushed peanuts and cilantro at S&I. You can get it spicy or fix it up with the table condiments.
